During my visit, I couldn't resist trying the fried calamari, which was perfectly paired with a tangy aioli—a delightful start to my meal. The lively atmosphere was complemented by a guitarist strumming nearby, making my experience all the more memorable. While the cocktails were satisfactory, the pizzas were undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Seeing locals devour their slices made me eager to sample one myself, and I was not disappointed.

“ Main Street bistro is a casual local place that has live music on some nights. I often choose to go when they are having a band that I like or no band at all for a quiet dinner. I have eaten there once or twice a month for many years, they are one of the few places that has a lamb shank dinner for a reasonable price. The food is consistently good, and I've been lucky that I seldom have to wait for a table. I went to Main Street on December 24, 2024 and invited a friend to join me so that we could have some conversation at dinner. A band called Parlor Tricks was playing, and though they were good musicians, they played WAY TOO LOUD, which made the singers voice sound shrill. It was impossible to have conversation at our table, so we moved from the dining room to the farthest point in the bar in attempt to escape the extremely loud music, but that did not do the trick. We asked the waitress twice to ask them to turn the music down a little bit so that we could talk to one another, she agreed with us and asked the band twice to turn the music down and they pretty much refused. We asked to speak to the manager, and, Dani, the manager that was working that night, actually went over and rotated the speakers away from us, and that made it possible to have a conversation at our table. Thank you very much Dani, you saved the night! I highly recommend the main street bistro as a restaurant/bar, great food and reasonable prices for todays market, but I will never go there if the band Parlor Tricks is playing because the band was unbearably loud and unresponsive to the diner's and staff concerns. ”
“ I had a amazing steak dinner there. Wonderful server, Dani B. Enjoyed the music from "The Ramblers," Very nice Manhattan and just a perfect dining experience. Definitely will be back. ”
“ Came here for dinner after a day of wine tasting in the area last Easter. Honestly, this wasn't our first pick according to reviews online but our first pick was closed. I believe, things worked out as they were supposed to. Parking was easy to find on the street and we got seated right away. We came right before the dinner rush and were able to enjoy front row seats to musical stylings of a local guitarist which was a nice surprise given we were out here celebrating a year married. Now while I wouldn't think to choose this spot to celebrate a special occasion, the food was amazing. Our cocktails were fine, nothing out of the ordinary but they did the trick and accompanied dinner nicely. I chose the fried calamari to start and mostly because while I wanted to try the fish and chips I saw other patrons enjoying, I knew my partner wanted to share a pizza so I figured this appetizer would satisfy my craving for fried seafood. Boy this did that and so much more. The aioli took this dish to the next level and I will definitely order this again. While I didn't really want pizza for dinner, I have to admit seeing so many pizzas looking good on other tables I figured it was worth a try. Glad that we opted for the green Italian that was different than your typical pizza due to the pesto and it was devoured with no leftovers because it was that good! This place was a happy surprise and would recommend anyone in the area give it a try! ”
“ We came in here for lunch after 3pm because most of the restaurants around were closed I guess they open for dinner at 4pm. The place is outdated, and very tight , you are seating extremely close to people. Customer service was good , I'll say a 4, it seems difficult for the waitress to get to us, since we were in a corner and by us a bunch of tables way too close. The food is a 5 ! The pizza was thin crust super good , we ordered the bohemian, the beets salad was fresh and had a lot of flavor, we also had garlic French fries , but they forgot about them :/ so instead of eating them as appetizers we ate them after we were done with our pizza and salad. You can seat indoors or outdoors; There's street parking. They also have a bar, their drinks looked good and fancy ! I would definitely recommend the pizza! ”
“ We stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a drink while fucking away from the drops for a bit. They serve a limited menu at lunch but they offer Gluten Free crust so we decided to get a pizza and enjoy. They don't make the GF crust but that's ok, most places don't so they aren't alone. It's nice to have an option, but they do make their other dough in house. We created a white sauce, pepperoni, jalapeños, pineapple, and a drizzle of their pineapple jalapeño jelly. It was delicious! Service was friendly, quiet overall experience; it was a pretty mellow day. Most of the time we were in there we were alone in the bar area open for lunch service. ”
“ Cool place to visit, fun vibes and nice people. The live music was the best part, the band sounded great and everyone got up from their tables to dance. The food is good but the price is pretty wild for the portion size. I got a small piece of meat and a few pieces of veges for a huge price, I was still hungry after spending around $30. ”
